Cam Ronald, NZ Police
Cam joined the Pacific Prevention of Domestic Violence Programme in April 2007 as the Programme Manager. He had been on the Management Team as the representative of the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police secretariat where he had been the Executive Director for the previous three years.
Cam retired as a sworn NZ Police Superintendent in March 2007 after 35 years of service. This included a range of domestic policing tasks in New Zealand with an emphasis on 27 years of criminal investigations and criminal intelligence. He has led a number of police projects including the implementation of the national DNA databank; the development of intelligence projects for APEC and other international events; and the development of Combined Law Agency groups (CLAG's)in New Zealand law enforcement. Cam spent three years in Canberra as the NZ Police liaison officer over the times of the increase in national security operations including Bali bombings, and the RAMSI development.
